Meta is aggressively hunting top AI talents in the industry, offering compensation package compensation. The company is building its superintending team and aims to dominate the AI region. However, not everyone is taking feed. Anthropic co-founder and CEO, Dario Amodi, recently revealed that Meta has threatened the high proposal as $ 100 million (about Rs 862 crore) for the recruitment of top artificial intelligence researchers, their mission-operated team has opposed a large extent.

In a recent episode of Lenny’s podcast, Anthropic Executive Jered Coupon opened about the war that is in -depth work in the AI industry. Without the names of direct names, he pointed to a large -scale signing bonus introduced by the choice of meta, which he reported that he was rejected by his colleagues. “They receive these proposals and then they say, ‘Okay, of course, I am not going to leave because my best case in Meta is that we earn money, and my best case in anthropic affects the future of humanity,” the couple said. “For me, this is not a difficult choice.”

Although he admitted that individual circumstances are different, he made it clear that his own preferences are with a long-term mission of anthropic rather than immediate financial winds. He said, “My best case in Meta is that we earn money, and my best case in anthropic is that we affect the future of humanity and try to flourish AI and create human flight well,” he said. “Whoever provides those mega and accepts them, I cannot say that I catch it against them.”

When asked about heavy compensation packages, the couple confirmed the reality. “I am sure this is real,” he said that when asked about the $ 100 million signed bonus figure. “Paying individuals like $ 100 million in a four-year package-which is actually much cheaper than the price made for business.”

Coupon’s comments come amid growing arms race for AI talent. Meta is allegedly offering unprecedented amounts to woo researchers from rival firms including Openai and Anthropic. In June, Meta also brought AIO Alexandr Wang, CEO of Scale AI to lead a new “superintendent” unit, along with six researchers from OpenaiI. The company is not removing the top AI brain from giving a nine-day compensation package. These packages often include a combination of base pay, adequate signature bonus and important equity grants.

Despite the competition, anthropic says it is the most flexible. The couple said, “The people here are missions-oriented,” insisting that many employees are not demolished by the proposals of nine-to-union when they feel that they are contributing to some more meaningful.

Meanwhile, Perplexity AI CEO Arvind Srinivas recently weighed the trend, saying that companies should offer more than just money to maintain top people. “You are facing new kinds of challenges.
