Malaika Arora is one of the famous actresses of the industry, who has made a special place in the hearts of the audience. However, before her journey began in Shrobiz, Malaika clashed with a humble middle class family, where her mother was a single parent. Malaika specifically shared with Pinkvilla that during childhood, her mother was a provider for the house, and she was the elder sister of her younger sister Amrita Arora.
Malaika Arora on being responsible at a young age
In a special conversation with Pinkvilla, Malaika Arora opened up on childhood conflicts due to being raised by a single parents. He shared, “Because of my mother’s work, it made me additional responsible. At a very young age, I felt that I was in a situation where I was to be responsible.”
He continued, “I became the person who was taking care of my sister (Amrita Arora), and I became a responsible manner before my time.”

Malaika Arora on childhood struggle
Malaika Arora insisted that when she started earning at the age of 17, she was only focused on earning, savings and investment. Asked whether this was because he was raised by a single mother, Malaika agreed, “Maybe. I think you grow up with some of these insecurity.”
Recalling her mother’s struggles, the actress shared, “It’s not that we have anything lacking. My mother worked hard and ensured that she has given us everything under the sun. Whether it is education, food, food on the table, wearing clothes, or anything.
Jhalak Dikhla Ja Judge explained, “I think I have learned, patience, determination or strength. I have learned and have been imbibed with him. I think I have become too big as a child for a woman, seeing how he has led his life.”
Malaika emphasized that due to those circumstances, they often felt the need to do more. She mentioned how she wanted to be a daughter that everyone should trust.
Asked if he had a difficult journey, the Diva agreed that there were times when he felt like taking backseat many times, but also realized that he was responsible.
He said, “I can’t keep my feet up and say whether I am a little Nahi Karna (I don’t want to work). She is Liberty toh Hai Hi Nahi (there is no freedom).”
Malaika expressed that she does not have ancestral property and would have to work hard to achieve her goals. He shared his disappointment with those who commented on his lifestyle, given how they fail to feel how much effort is made to maintain a certain way of living, manage a house and pay attention to everything. He insisted that people often look at glamorous aspects, which are seen in the difficulties involved.
