These days Mahesh Babu is working on his much awaited film Varanasi. However, the actor is now in the news for a different reason as he has released the teaser of Nagabandham.

Nagabandham is an upcoming mythological action film which is touted to be an epic tale beyond time. Set in the mysterious Himalayan expanse, the teaser explores a world where a mystery older than time lies hidden. When one man’s greed threatens to expose this cosmic truth, destiny steps in to choose its warrior.
The film is said to be partly inspired by the historical Afghan invasion, blending mythology, history and spiritual warfare. At the center of this epic is the sacred Nagabandham Temple, a hidden temple guarded by divine energies and believed to protect an ancient cosmic power.
Directed by Abhishek Nama, this film stars Virat Karna in the lead role. Apart from him, Nabha Natesh, Ishwarya Menon, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jagapati Babu, Rishabh Sahni, Garud Ram, Jaiprakash and Murali Sharma are in lead roles in the film.
With the story written by Naama himself, the film stars Sundar Rajan S as the cinematographer. Additionally, Abhey and Junaid Kumar have composed the musical track and background score. Additionally, RC Panav serves as editor.
Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film
Mahesh Babu is going to be seen in the lead role in the film Varanasi directed by SS Rajamouli. The upcoming action-adventure film is described as a globe-trotting, time-travel saga, with the superstar playing the role of an adventurer who travels through space and time to save the world before a catastrophic disaster strikes.
Apart from this, Mahesh has also confirmed that the film will feature a Ramayana episode, in which he will play the role of Lord Ram. Apart from Mahesh, the film will star Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the co-lead role, while Prithviraj Sukumaran will play the main antagonist.
Varanasi is scheduled to release on April 7, 2027. Recently, SS Rajamouli confirmed that 50% shooting of the film has been completed.
