Pradeep Ranganathan starrer Love Insurance Company (LIK) was initially announced to release on April 3, 2026, on the occasion of Good Friday this year. However, with reports suggesting that the film may be postponed once again, the makers are expected to release a new promo featuring Pradeep, director Vignesh Shivan and composer Anirudh Ravichander along with the final release date.

According to a report by Let’s Cinema, the producers of Love Insurance Company (LIK) Planning to release a new promo, the release date is expected to be set for April 10, 2026.
Pradeep Ranganathan, Vignesh Shivan and Anirudh Ravichander are expected to feature in the upcoming promo. Additionally, the team is said to have completed its distribution, digital and satellite deals. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this yet.

Love Insurance Company is a science-fiction romantic comedy directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film is based in a futuristic version of Chennai in the year 2040, where romance is also programmed through apps and measured using technology. In this world, a man who believes in old-fashioned love meets Dheeme, a tech-savvy woman.
As their relationship becomes a threat to Suriyan, the CEO of a love app, the young man must fight for his love against corporate forces and a technology-driven approach to relationships.
Kriti Shetty is in the lead role in this film directed by Dragon actor. It includes SJ Surya, Seeman, Yogi Babu, Gauri ji. Kishan, Shah Ra and others also star in lead roles. Additionally, Anirudh Ravichander composes the songs and background score and also lends his voice to a robot character.
First, Vignesh Shivan An update regarding the release of the film was hinted at. Initially, LIK was scheduled to release on September 18, 2025. However, due to unknown reasons, it was postponed and later rescheduled to October 17, 2025, on the occasion of Diwali.
During this time, Pradeep Ranganathan And Mamita Baiju’s Dude had locked the same release date, due to which the makers of LIK had to postpone the film to avoid box office clash. It was then rescheduled for December 18, 2025, but there was no update after that. Now it seems that the release date of the film may once again be postponed from April 3 to April 10, 2026.
