Look: ‘My daily wage was just 20 rupees’, Mammon actor Sori says because he remembers the initial struggles and leaves food to save money.

Tamil actor Sori has faced several conflicts before and after entering the film industry. During a promotional event for his film Mammon, he talked about his early difficulties and the challenges he made. He also remembered working as a daily wage laborer before chasing his passion for acting.

Sori shared that he worked with a group of friends in Tiruppur in 1993. By the end of the week, he will receive Rs 140, from which he kept Rs 70 for himself and sent the rest of the house. He talked about a nearby bakery, in which coconut buns were sold for one and fourth rupees. Since tea and bun together exceeded their budget, the actor revealed only tea on it.

He also remembered the kind of support he had from the hotel owners. Sori said that her time in Tiruppur taught her the most difficult life lesson. Looking back, he realized that the applause and love that today receive is the biggest award of life. This makes him feel supported and honored.

In his words, “I started working in Tiruppur with a group of friends in 1993. Our daily wage was just 20 rupees. At the end of the week, we earned Rs 140 – I will keep Rs 70 for myself and send others home and send a bakery nearby. I could buy a coconut ban for a quarter rupee.

On the work front, Sori’s film Mammon was released in theaters on 16 May. The film received positive reactions from the audience, who watched the first show screening on the first day. Even the review of the premiere show last night was favorable. The film features Aishwarya Lectmi as a female head.
