Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, 82, shared a cryptic post on his blog on Sunday, criticizing those spreading fake news. The veteran actor criticized their actions, calling them “idiots” and said that spreading misinformation is a way for such individuals to hide their “shortcomings”.

In a scathing note on Tumblr, Big B wrote, “Idiots and limited minded people – there is never any dearth of such people in this world; They create and print their own stupid fake stuff every day to cover up their own private, brainless, half-baked shortcomings.” He concluded the post, signing off with “My love” in his trademark style. .

Amitabh’s posts have come amid speculations about the marriage of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.
