Lara Dutta Bhupathi was recently in Paris with her entire family to witness the magic of Olympics 2024. The actress met India legend Neeraj Chopra during an event held in his honour when he won the silver medal. Dutta shared several photos and videos from the event, including one of Neeraj’s heartwarming address to the audience after the win.
Neeraj stood on the podium and proudly showed his silver medal amid cheers and applause. In her next story, Lara shared a picture of herself and her husband Mahesh Bhupathi, in which they were smiling and posing with Neeraj. In another picture, Lara’s daughter Saira is also seen with Neeraj. On this occasion, Lara wore a red suit, while Mahesh was seen in formal attire.

Neeraj missed out on winning the gold medal but still gave a best throw of 89.45m. His four consecutive foul throws largely affected his chances of reaching the top spot, which went to Arshad Nadeem. The Pakistani player won the gold with a throw of 92.97m and received praise from all over the world, including Neeraj’s mother.
Saroj Devi told ANI, “We are very happy with the silver, the one who won gold is also our child and the one who won silver is also our child. All are athletes, all work hard. Nadeem is also good, he plays well, and there is no difference between Neeraj and Nadeem. We got gold and silver, there is no difference for us.”
