Talking about this in an interview, Lakshmi told how Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh helped initially, but still finding an apartment proved difficult. She said, “When I moved, I had no apartment to live in.”
She further added, “Ram Charan helped me at that time. I did not tell anyone because if people came to know that I was staying at his house, they would not give me work. I also told Charan not to tell anyone.”

Manchu said she felt like she shouldn’t be living in such a beautiful house. “But he (Ram Charan) told me to use it. He told me the AC and water pipes would work. He didn’t even know how long I stayed there, and that’s love,” she said.
