Mohanlal and Thudaram director Tharun Murthy are all set to collaborate for the second time after the massive success of Thudaram. The superstar has now announced that his upcoming film is titled Athimanoharam.
Mohanlal’s L366 is named Athimanoharam
Taking to their social media handles, Mohanlal Shared a new look from the film. Along with the poster, the superstar wished his fans a happy Vishu while announcing the title of the film as Athimanoharam.
In the new poster, the superstar is seen smiling upwards in a police uniform. His character is seen surrounded by devotees visiting Sabarimala. Interestingly, the title design features two stars, indicating that Mohanlal is playing the role of a sub-inspector in the film.

athimnoharam It is touted to be a police action-comedy, with Mohanlal playing the role of a sub-inspector at a local police station. With Rathish Ravi writing the screenplay, the film marks the return of Mira Jasmine in the lead role opposite Mohanlal after several years. She had previously played a cameo role with the actor in Hridayapurvam.
Initially, the project was announced as L365, with Thallumala actor Austin Das attached as director. However, due to creative differences, he was replaced by Tharun Murthy, leading to the project turning into a new film separate from the original version.
Mohanlal’s work front
Mohanlal will be next seen on the big screen in Drishyam 3 directed by Jeethu Joseph. The crime thriller was earlier scheduled to release on April 2, 2026, but has now been postponed to May 21, 2026, to coincide with the actor’s 66th birthday.
Ahead of the release of Drishyam 3, the makers have also announced that Drishyam 2, which was originally released directly on OTT, will hit the theaters on April 10, 2026.
Apart from L366, Laleton has also announced projects like L367 and a film with director Priyadarshan, which is the director’s 100th project. Like superstar Rajinikanth, he will also play cameo roles in films. jailer 2Khalifa: Part 1, and Thudakkam starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
