Why is Vijay Devarakonda’s Suri infiltrating her brother’s syndicate?
The Kingdom is set in Sri Lanka in the late 1980s, where Surya alias Suri (played by Vijay Devarakonda), a police constable, works with dedication. Due to his past, the policeman is unaware of where his elder brother is and he searches for him.
In his search to find his long -lost brother, Suri has been assigned an undercover operation to infiltrate a crime syndicate. The twist comes in his life when it is revealed that his brother Shiva (Satyadeva) is part of the syndicate and does shady work for its functioning.
As Suri successfully becomes part of the syndicate, Shiva learns about the true intentions of his brother. Meanwhile, Murugan, son of the powerful don of the syndicate, has been crossed with Shiva due to his development.
After finding out that Surya lied to him, Shiva warned his brother and decided to leave him. At the same time, Murugan (Venkitesh VP) decided to take revenge.
Similar to the red wedding of the Game of Thrones, Murugan killed Shiva and his entire family, including a indigenous group of Telugu speaking people in Sri Lanka.
As soon as Suri knows about his brother’s death, he participates in his defense but is too late. Now, a fiery Suria removes his entire strength against his brother’s killers, ends his life, only to see a tattoo on his body for the leader of the indigenous group.
What does Suri’s tattoo mean?
Look at the tattoo, the group leader remembers that his tribe was predicted for years. Taking us in the 1920s, a tribe named Divi was on the verge of collapse in the fight against a British invasion.
At the last moment, the king of the tribe sacrificed his life to protect his people, and it was predicted that he would once again rebirth. The king had a tattoo, a symbol of the group.
The same tattoo was inscribed on the sun by a delicate woman when she was a child, showing that she is the rebirth of her king.
After knowing about the truth, Suri knows about her true fate and symbolically becomes the king of her people, joining the rank within her group. At the same time, a new threat is waiting because Murugan’s brother Sethu plans to take his revenge, installing the base for the sequel.
