The makers of the Kannada film ‘KD – The Devil’ released a highly awaited teaser of the Commercial Action film on July 10 during a teaser launch event hosted in Mumbai. After the fame of ‘Jogi’, the film starred Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt as “blood tied” as two malicious forces.

Two minutes presented in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, eleven-second teaser, performed primary characters with some large-scale action sequences and dialogues. The teaser character is an assembling of character introduction, which begins with Sanjay Dutt’s covered Dev and Dhruva Sarja’s Kali Das alias KD, Titular character. After this, all other major characters are introduced in the film, reminiscent of their earlier character-just posters in a format.

In the Ensambal Cast, experienced actors like Shilpa Shetty, Ravichandran and Ramesh Arvind as well as ‘UI’ with Rishma Naniah of fame, who play the role of female leadership in the film. Nora Fatehi will start her Kannada with a special song in this love director.

Action spectacle is the major attraction of teaser as the director love presents a bloody, violent world where KD and covered Dev are tied to blood, but do not belong to each other. The scenes are set around the 1970s, establishing that ‘KD – the Devil’ is going to be a stylish period gangster drama.

Arjun Janya has composed music for the film, and the first two solo, ‘Shiva Shiva’ and ‘Setegala’, have been appreciated by the audience. The commercial action film is produced by KVN Productions, which is supporting films like Thalapathi Vijay’s ‘Jan Nayagan’ and Yash Ki ‘Toxic’.

Actor Dhruva Sarja was last seen in the Kannada film ‘Martin’, which was released in October 2024 for adverse reviews. ‘KD – The Devil’ is being postponed as a return film for the Kannada Action Star at the box office. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in the comedy film ‘Housefull 5’, in which Akshay Kumar played the lead role.
