Karate Kid: Legends, the newest addition to the beloved karate kid Universe, is ready to hit theaters in 2025, which for the first time brings together Ralph Macchio’s Daniel Larso and Jackie Chan’s Mr. Han together.
The film continues the story of Daniel, which first appeared in the 1984 classic the karate kid and Netflix’s hit series emerged again in Cobra Kai, which wrapped his six-C-Sizhr run in February 2025. Now, Daniel found himself crossing the paths with Mr. Han, starring Jayden Smith from Kung Fu Master in 2010.

While focusing on LI’s journey, fans will be thrilled to see an familiar face. William Zabka returns as Johnny Lawrence in a stunning cameo near the end of the film. Director Antavistal revealed that there was a “very difficult” mystery to keep the role of Zabka.
Macchio also praised Zabka’s inclusion, saying, “He catches Cobra Kai with a great performance, and he holds us the veteran Johnny Lawrence with a tip of Hat here.”
