The much-awaited trailer of the sequel ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ was released on July 23, 2024. Starring Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix and global superstar Lady Gaga, the sequel promises to delve deeper into the twisted mindset of the iconic villain and his girlfriend.

‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ continues the dark and gritty story that wowed audiences and critics in 2019. Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, a failed comedian who descends into madness and transforms into the infamous Joker. He is joined by Lady Gaga, who will play the Joker’s partner and girlfriend Harley Quinn.

‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ is the story of Arthur Fleck, who is institutionalized at Arkham and awaits trial for his actions as the Joker. As he grapples with his dual identity, Arthur finds true love and discovers the music that was always within him.

The film also stars Oscar nominee Brendan Gleeson, of ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ fame, and Catherine Keener, who also appeared in ‘Get Out.’ Zazie Beetz will reprise her role from the first film.
