The film Jawaan created a stir at the Indian box office when it was released in 2023. Starring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role along with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone and many others, the film received immense love from the audience. Shah Rukh has now announced that the film will be released in Japan on November 29, 2024.
Today, on September 12, 2024, Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media handle and shared a poster of Jawaan releasing in Japan. In the caption, the superstar revealed the release date and also asked if the audience is ready for this storm.
He wrote, “A story of justice… of revenge… of a villain and a hero… a story of a young man… is coming to Japan’s theaters for the first time!!! So now only one question remains – ready-ah? Shah Rukh further wrote, “The fire and action you all loved is coming to Japan in a big way! #Jawan will hit the screens in Japan on November 29, 2024!”

Earlier on 7 September 2024, Jawaan completed one year of its release in India. Shah Rukh Khan shared a special post on Instagram on this occasion. He shared a highlight reel showing famous scenes from the film and wrote at the end of the video, “Celebrating 1 year of Jawaan.”
In the caption, Shah Rukh said, “The film that we made with a lot of heart… has turned a year old today… or should I say ‘Jawaan’ has turned a year old.”

Jawaan is an action thriller directed by Atlee. It is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film is a musical by Anirudh Ravichander. It is the story of a father and son who fight against a corrupt arms dealer.
Nayanthara played Narmada, a policewoman and Shah Rukh Khan’s girlfriend. Vijay Sethupathi was the antagonist. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt played cameo roles, while Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeetha Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lahar Khan and others played important roles.
