Jana Nayakan starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role is scheduled to release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with Pongal. Ahead of the release, the makers have released the third track of the film. This time, it’s a full-length raga that explores the relationship between a father and his daughter.

Jana Nayagan’s third single is titled Chela Magale, composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This track is sung by Thalapathy Vijay himself, its lyrics are written by Vivek.

This melodious song serves as an emotional and heartwarming track that explores the bond between a father and his daughter, showing the love, care and tenderness he has for her.

Earlier, the makers had unveiled two singles from the film, Thalapathy Thiruvizha and Oru Pere Varalaru. The first single was a huge dance banger that was a celebratory song, while the second was meant to be a tribute to the superstar and his legacy.

Early reports suggested that Jana Nayagan could be a remake of the Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer Bhagavanth Kesari. Although the official update is still awaited, many netizens have pointed out the similarity between the songs from both the films.

According to recent reports, the film explores an ideological clash between two individuals who were linked in the past, which ended in a serious confrontation. When a girl’s silent fear reopens old wounds, a former police officer is forced to fight a battle bigger than personal vendetta to empower her.

Speculation suggests that the film may exceed three hours in length and may include elements of science fiction and artificial intelligence. However, no official confirmation has been made. Additionally, reports suggest that directors Nelson Dilipkumar, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee may play cameo roles in the film.

Ahead of its Pongal release, the Jana Nayakan team will hold an audio launch event in Malaysia on December 27, 2025.
