Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja is one of the popular star kids of Bollywood. Pinkvilla had exclusively informed you last year that, carrying forward her father’s legacy, she is all set to make her debut in the Hindi film industry with National Award-winning director Sai Rajesh. Now recently news has come that Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan will also be seen in this film.

According to a report published in Filmfare, Babil Khan will play an important role in the debut film of Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja. A source close to the development informed the publication that the makers need a more established face for another lead character in the film. The report claims that Babil came on board to add the necessary dramatic depth to the role, keeping in mind his previous projects in which he has already proven his acting skills.

For those unaware, we informed you in December last year that Ahuja’s upcoming film will be directed by Sai Rajesh, who is known for directing Telugu films like Baby, Color Photo and others. We also shared that the yet-untitled film is a love story, which will be produced by Madhu Mantena along with Allu Aravind and SKN Films.

Notably, Yashvardhan auditioned for the role and bagged it on merit. It was also revealed that the lead actress has not been selected yet for the film.

“The nationwide search to cast the film’s female lead has been led by Mukesh Chhabra, and the casting director has received over 14,000 audition clips so far. The name of the female protagonist will be decided soon as the makers want to take the film on the floors by summer 2025.

The director, along with the producers, are working on creating an original and soulful music album for the love story.

Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar’s son Babil Khan also enjoys considerable popularity on the internet. While his upcoming ventures have not been officially announced yet, last year, while replying to a fan, Babil had teased his fans by saying that he has completed work on two projects. He said he could have just waited, but also expressed hope that his well-wishers would not have to wait much longer.
