Sonam Kapoor and her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja, are celebrating eight years of marriage today, as well as a decade of marriage. On the special occasion, the actor shared a heartfelt note for Anand along with unseen family photos of his two sons.
On Friday, May 8, Sonam posted a video montage of candid moments from her personal life. One of the pictures showed the actor holding his newborn baby in his arms, while Anand was seen putting his elder son Vayu to sleep.

In her caption, Sonam wrote, “A decade with you. Eight years of marriage. Three cities. Three houses. Two beautiful boys. Countless dreams built from scratch. Lots of risks taken, lessons learned, businesses built, failures survived, wins celebrated and moments when we held each other a little tighter during the uncertainty of it all.”
She further said that they have been together in every phase of life, their love, respect and compassion for Anand has grown stronger with time.
The 40-year-old actor revealed that Anand was the first person she wanted to talk to every morning and the last person she wanted near her at night. She described him as her calmness in her chaos and the person who made her feel safest, strongest and most herself.
Sonam further expressed her love for Anand Ahuja, saying that after ten years, she loves him more slowly, deliberately and completely than she had imagined when they first started their journey together.
Raanjhanaa The actor thanked Anand for creating a life full of laughter, friendship, resilience, family and love that evolved instead of fading away. She said there is no one else she would want to share her life with and wished him a happy anniversary with the hashtag “every day is phenomenal.”
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in 2018 in a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai, which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
The couple welcomed their first son, Vayu, in August 2022. They welcomed their second son in March 2026.
