After a stellar starts at the box office, Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy ‘Housefull 5’ has started losing steam. Although the film had a strong opening and influential number in its first week, its eighth day earnings decreased to Rs 6 crore, which is the lowest ever.
Looking at its stronghold at the box officeThe film was expected to enter a club of Rs 150 crore smoothly. However, on 8 days (Friday), the number of film took a dip. Despite the decline in numbers, the film has crossed Rs 133 crore in the net collection of India, according to initial estimates.
‘Housefull 5’ inaugurated a blockbuster at the box office, which was for Rs 24 crore on its first Friday. The speed continued in the weekend, the film collected Rs 31 crore on the first Saturday and Rs 32.5 crore on the first Sunday, making its total weekend earned for Rs 87.5 crore.
