Doctors kidnapped in Alex Dalton (Ashley Thomas) and French Guana are rescued in a French -led operation coordinated by President Vivian Tousent (Julie Delpie). The raid is successful but not without loss: A doctor is killed, and the kidnappers are neutralized. The rescue allows France to secure a political deal to supply important drugs in the UK, which reduces the National Health Services crisis that eradicated Abigail’s support.
Who was behind it here and why
Plot’s architect John Shagan, a grieving ex -serviceman and his old commanding officer, General Joseph Livingstone. Shagon wants to take revenge after Abigail as a junior minister, ordered a withdrawal in Belize, who overtook citizens, including his pregnant fiancée. Livingstone wanted to “bring his knees” to prove his point to prove the deduction to protect Abigail. Together they used ex -servicemen and put leaks, bombs and blackmail to destabilize the government.
Matheo (Corey Mylchreest), Vivienne’s half -son, becomes an important person after a leaked video and brings an explosive laptop crisis to Downing Street. The explosion of the laptop kills Vivian, increases political chaos and briefly forces Dan Ogilvi to act as an interim Prime Minister and declare an emergency situation.
Final confrontation and collapse
The series ends with a physical performance. The Shagon places Alex and others at the tip of the gun. Matho alerts the police, and during a conflict, Abigail’s daughter, Silvi shot Shagon to protect her family. The campaign of violence collapsed. General Livingston is arrested when Abigail faces him inside the Ministry of Defense.
Outside the Downing Street, Abigail addresses the nation. She announces a general election and promises a new mandate built on “transparency, honesty and accountability”. Rescue, arrest and French drug deal stabilizes the immediate crisis and gives political place to rebuild Abigail.
The mortgage is closed with personal damage and political consequences. This resolves the abduction conspiracy and explains how grief, military cuts and revenge can become political weapons. For the audience discovering a clear hostage ending, Finale made a purpose of action and left the country in elections, while Abigail and his family began a slow recovery work.
