Honor has been moving quickly with its announcements, and the latest addition to its X-series smartphone lineup is the refresh of the strong battery champion Honor X70, which was launched in July. Honor also unveiled its latest fitness-oriented smartwatch – the Watch X5i, which features a 1.97-inch AMOLED and up to 21 days of battery capacity.
Honor X70 Refresh Edition
The X70 Refresh Edition has three changes: 1) it comes in a new Sunrise Gold color, 2) comes with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and 3) is CNY 300 ($44) more expensive than the regular Honor X70.
Talking about the rest of the spec sheet, it is similar to the Honor X70. This means a 6.8-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz) display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 50MP main camera, and an 8,300 mAh battery with 80W wired charging.
We’re pretty sure the X70 Refresh Edition will be a China-exclusive, just like the regular Honor X70. pricing begins CNY 1,699 for ($247) 8/128GB trim and goes till CNY 2,399 ($349) for version 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Honor Watch X5i
Along with the X70 Refresh Edition, Honor also announced a new wrist wearable with the Watch X5i. It is a fitness-oriented smartwatch that boots Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) without the support of third-party apps.
It brings a 1.97-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 390 x 450px resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and Always On Display (AOD) functionality. The Watch X5i weighs 41 grams (including the watch strap) and has a metallic midframe. It’s 1ATM waterproof rated, which means it’s suitable for light submersion, but not for actual submersion or swimming.

The Watch X5i brings support for the standard range of health and activity tracking with support for 24/7 heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and stress tracking. You can also maintain your fitness goals and track over 100 sports modes.
It connects over Bluetooth 5.4 with support for on-device Bluetooth calling and is compatible with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS devices. Honor claims that you can expect up to 21 days of usage between charges from the Watch X5i’s 420mAh battery under normal use, or up to 6 days in AOD mode.
Honor Watch X5i comes in Midnight Black and Starlight White colors. It retails for CNY 219 ($32) And is available in China on Honor’s official online store, with delivery scheduled for April 15.
