Late last year, Honor introduced the “Play” series in China with an entry-level 5G phone, the Play 60A. Now a device almost identical to the X6d has appeared in a store in the UAE. And this is not the end of the story.
The Honor It’s still the only lens on the back and it still tops out at 1080p @ 30fps video recording, but it’s an upgrade. The 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera remains the same.
The other specification that stands out is the 5,260mAh battery instead of 5,300mAh. The difference is so small that it may actually be the same battery with a different capacity label. Everything else is almost the same.

Honor is tipped to stick with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (no word on expansion capacity). The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, no doubt with MagicOS on top.
The phone has a 6.75″ LCD on the front with 720p+ resolution. We’ve already covered the selfie camera. The specifications listed on the store don’t mention a fingerprint reader, but if there is one, it will be on the side.
Well, it is a dual-SIM phone, but other details like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. are not mentioned. For its price, the Play 60A has Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD, but it lacks NFC.
The Honor X6d is listed at AED 509. This converts to $138, €116 and ₹12,555. There are two color options available at the store, Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan.

But wait – recent certification from GCF has revealed that the X6d has the model number NLA-NX1. The same model number has been given to another name Honor 500 Smart.
There are already a few models of the Honor 500 available in China with an iPhone Air-like design and a bigger battery (we’re talking about an 8,000mAh cell here). The Honor X6d or 500 Pro doesn’t fit in either case.
Thanks for the tip!
