Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel are collaborating for the first time on the tentatively titled NTRNeel (Dragon). Recent reports have revealed that the film will be extensively shot this month. However, now it looks like the film may be put on hold temporarily due to Jr NTR’s new look.

According to a report by Gulte, there are many looks of Jr NTR ntrneelAnd the upcoming schedule requires him to don a different version. Since both Taarak and Prashanth felt that the new look was not satisfactory, they decided to stop the shooting for some time and rework the actor’s appearance.

The team recently completed a major event in Jordan. After this, he reportedly shot for about a week in a temple near Shamshabad. Meanwhile, a huge set is being constructed for the film, with shooting expected to resume next month.

However, this is unconfirmed, and no official statement has been made.

Talking about the film, earlier speculations had revealed that the Malayalam film star Tovino Thomas Will appear in a lead role, possibly as the main antagonist. However, during the promotions of Pallichattambi, the actor clarified that he had opted out of the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Earlier, NTRnil (Dragon) was announced for theatrical release on June 25, 2026. However, the film may skip this date, as the new release schedule has not been announced by the makers yet. Although the full cast has not been officially confirmed, the film is expected to star Rukmini Vasanth in the co-lead role.
