Haq Box Office Day 6: Emraan Hashmi-Yami Gautam’s legal drama sees a slight decline

Acclaimed for its powerful performances and socially empowering narrative, ‘Haq’ has now crossed the Rs 11 crore mark, which suggests that the positive word-of-mouth is still drawing audiences to theatres.
According to the estimate of SacnilkThe film earned around Rs 0.47 crore on its sixth day (Wednesday, November 12, 2025), taking its total domestic net collection to around Rs 11.72 crore. Despite the mid-week slump, consistent attendance at evening and night shows indicates that the film can maintain steady collections in its second weekend.
On Tuesday, ‘Haq’ recorded an overall occupancy rate of 21.11 per cent with the highest turnout at 33.27 per cent in the night show, 24.69 per cent in the evening show, 17.43 per cent in the afternoon show and 9.03 per cent in the morning show. In the first six days,
‘Haq’ earned Rs 1.75 crore on Friday, Rs 3.35 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.85 crore on Sunday. The weekday collection saw a decline of Rs 1.05 crore on Monday, Rs 1.25 crore on Tuesday and around Rs 0.47 crore on Wednesday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 11.72 crore.
Meanwhile, ‘Haq’ has also come at the center of a legal dispute. Earlier, news agency ANI It was told that Siddika Begum is the daughter and legal heir of Shah Bano. Legal notice issued to film producers There has been a demand for an immediate ban on the release, screening and promotional activities of the film.
The notice alleges “unauthorized depiction of the personal life of the legal heirs of late Shah Bano Begum without her consent”. It is directed by Suparn S. Varma, producers Junglee Pictures and Baweja Studios and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Set in 1980s India, ‘Haq’ follows Shazia BanoA woman who takes her husband to court after he stops paying child support when he remarries. When he tries to silence her through triple talaq, their fight turns into a national debate on women’s rights and religious freedom.
The film stars Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles, while Sheeba Chaddha, Aseem Hattangadi, Danish Hussain, Nitin Mahesh Joshi, Rahul Mittra and Vartika Singh play important supporting roles.
