Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja is known for her witty remarks, unfiltered nature and confident personality. Recently, she opened up about her changing feelings of security in her marriage. Sunita shared that she used to stay safe earlier and when speculations linking her names with actresses made headlines, she did not pay attention to them because she knew she was busy. However, he admitted that his perspective has changed over time.
In a new interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja shared that earlier, she had no doubts about Govinda’s loyalty due to his busy schedule. However, now that the actor has turned 60, she feels less confident. In her famous humorous style, she told that there is a possibility of change in people after 60, so she also teased her husband about this.
She said, “Earlier I was very secure, now I am not. After 60, people also go to Saathiya. He has crossed 60 and you don’t know what he will do. I only said this, brother, I have turned 60. Don’t make friends at this age.” (I was safe earlier but not safe now. People change after 60, so he has crossed 60, and you never know what he will do. I told him that he has turned 60, so he Must not change and must not lose his sanity.)
Ahuja was next asked whether he was upset with the rumors of the Raja Babu actor’s alleged link-up with the actress making headlines. She replied that she was not concerned about the rumors about Govinda during his peak years in the industry. However, she confessed that if similar gossip surfaced now, it would make her feel uncomfortable.
Sunita highlighted the unpredictability of human behavior and said, “I am speaking again, never trust anyone, man changes colors like a chameleon brother.” (I am telling you again, do not trust him, he is a man so he will change colors like a chameleon.)
She also referred to her appearance on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show and joked that she often mentioned him on the show to do something. Therefore, he later told her that she should not do anything because of his request, causing her to regret her words.
Despite light-hearted comments, Sunita and Ahuja have maintained a relationship of trust and bond over the years. The couple tied the knot on 11 March 1987 and have two children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan.
