Google Pixel 10a expected to launch sooner than expected, here’s what you can expect
Google is expected to launch Pixel 10a soon. According to a new leak, the affordable Pixel may launch before the previous release of its predecessor, the Pixel 9a. Here are all the details.
Google launched the Pixel 10 series in August last year. Now, the tech giant is expected to release the final device of the lineup, the affordable Pixel 10a soon. While the Pixel 9a was announced in March 2025, it looks like Google may be changing things up to release its latest low-cost Pixel device.
Pixel 10a likely to launch next month
According to WinFuture’s Roland Quandt, the Pixel 10a series could launch as early as next month. In a post on BlueSky, he shared that the device is likely to hit store shelves by mid-February. If accurate, this would indicate that Google is launching the Pixel 10a much earlier than its predecessor. The Pixel 9a was only available for purchase in April following a March 2025 release.
However previous leaks from Droid-Life indicate that the Pixel 10a release date will likely be February 17, 2026.
Google Pixel 10a, here’s what we know
The Pixel 10a is expected to be available in a wider range of colors and storage options than previous models. Quandt’s post also claims that the Pixel 10a will come in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, which will include Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and Berry colors. That last one is new and appears to be red if it falls in line with the “berry” color that Google launched on the Nest Cam (3rd generation) last year.
These details indicate that Google is focusing on offering more personalization for buyers, expanding the appeal of the device through new finishes. The “Berry” color, in particular, is a first for the Pixel A-series, reflecting Google’s willingness to experiment with bold colors.
In terms of design and specifications, the Pixel 10a appears to largely mirror its predecessor, the Pixel 9a. The device is expected to have the same 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the Google Pixel 10a is likely to offer a dual rear camera setup – a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide, along with a 13-megapixel selfie camera. You can also expect the device to come with 8GB of RAM and a 5,100mAh battery.
Previous reports also indicate that Google may use the same Tensor G4 chipset from the Pixel 9a for the Pixel 10a, instead of the Tensor G5 used in the Pixel 10 series.
Expected price of Google Pixel 10a
While we don’t have reliable information about the possible price of Pixel 10a. Google may keep it unchanged from last year. Pixel 9a was launched in India for Rs 49,999.
