From Kushal Tandon to Gauahar Khan: Celebs support Vishal Pandey amid slap controversy
Many stars have supported ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ contestant Vishal Pandey after he was slapped by Armaan Malik. Vishal’s family has also demanded justice against the YouTuber.
Stars like Kushal Tandon, Gauahar Khan and others came out in support of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ contestant Vishal Pandey, who was slapped by Armaan Malik on the show. This happened after Vishal’s comment on Armaan’s second wife Kritika Malik.
Kushal shared a post on X and wrote, “This is so weird, Bigg Boss OTT is already going like dogs but seriously the producers are allowed to slap? And now you are allowed to call someone beautiful if she is married? What crime is this boss? The asshole who slapped should be out or else everyone should slap each other.”
In another tweet, the actor wrote, “Ek samay tha Bigg Boss itna chaha ho used to be, ab ye samay hai cringe contestants, cringe content aur ab Bigg Boss ke cringe rules aageya, chata maaro content ke naam penn (There was a time when Bigg Boss used to be so good. Now, it’s the time of cringe contestants, cringe content and now Bigg Boss too has cringe rules. It’s all about slapping in the name of content).”
Gauahar Khan reacted to the slap incident on her Instagram story and wrote, “Toh kya married people ko sundar bolna bhi gunah hai? Kuch bhi (So, is it a crime to call married people beautiful? Nonsense).”
Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Aashika Bhatia has known Vishal Pandey for years. The actor came out in support of Pandey and wrote, “I am really shocked that this is happening, Vishal is being targeted. Know him for years, he is not what he is being shown to be, Tom is always with you. As a friend I feel really bad. Be strong @vishalpandey_21 (sic).”
Lock Up’s Anjali Arora has criticised Armaan Malik’s actions while supporting Vishal Pandey. Anjali argued that Armaan is the one promoting harmful messages about polygamy in society. She further said that Vishal did not make any derogatory comments about Kritika, he just said that he found Kritika beautiful.
Vishal had earlier confessed his feelings for Kritika. During an open conversation with Lovkesh Kataria, Vishal whispered in his ear, “I am guilty of one thing here. Bhabhi (Kritika Malik) looks beautiful. I am speaking in a good way.” When confronted about his comments on ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’, he was slapped by Armaan.
Meanwhile, Vishal’s family has released a statement on social media requesting the makers to throw Armaan out of the house.
