The makers of Freedom at Midnight have unveiled the second teaser of the series, highlighting another defining moment in Indian history. Based on the book by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins, Freedom at Midnight is a political thriller that brings to life the pivotal events surrounding India’s independence in 1947.
In the new teaser, audiences get a glimpse of Jinnah and why he decided to part ways with the Congress. It also shows how Jinnah had demanded a new nation. Watch the teaser here:
Director Nikhil Advani talked about the series And said, “Freedom at Midnight is a powerful look at one of India’s most important moments in history. The show is based on meticulous research and reflects the emotional and political chaos of the time. It takes a deeper look at major historical figures, with each character well developed, allowing the actors to really get into their roles.
