Two people were killed when a small private plane crashed into the roof of a house in northwestern Germany on Saturday, police said.The light plane fell into a residential neighborhood in Ganderksee, near the city of Oldenburg, and then crashed into the roof of a house, AFP reports.Police initially confirmed one death and said a second person was missing. However, after what officials described as a long and complex recovery operation to remove debris hidden in the house, both occupants were confirmed dead.The victims, aged 65 and 77, were from the city of Bremen.Residents of the home were evacuated as emergency crews worked to recover the plane. After clearing the debris they were allowed to return.German authorities have launched an investigation to find out what caused the accident.
