Emergency and Azad Day 9 Box Office: Kangana Ranaut and Rasha-Man’s films are at their last stop

After the game changer and Fateh, there was a second clash at the box office between Emergency and Azad. In January this year, both films could not perform miracles during their respective dramatic performances, linking the dull phase in January. He had no major competition in the market until the Sky Force released a day earlier. Both films have completed nine days and the situation is not good for box office health.

Emergency crosses Rs 13 crore; Azad set a business record of less than Rs 7 crore

Directed by Kangana Ranaut, the Emergency collected Rs 13.15 crore in the first week of its release. On the second Friday, the political drama earned Rs 30 lakh, followed by Rs 40 lakh on the second Saturday, making its total business to Rs 13.45 crore in nine days.

On the other hand, Azad earned Rs 6.20 crore in the initial week at the box office. Starring debutant artists Aman Devgan and Rasha Thadani, the historic drama earned 15–15 lakhs on the eighth and ninth day. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, it managed to cross only Rs 6 crore (about Rs 6.5 crore) in nine days. In other words, Azad is still behind 7 crores.
