Deals: Poco F8 Ultra and F8 Pro, plus Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max are on sale

Prime Day ran from Tuesday to Friday, but it’s now over. So, we focused our attention on regular deals (no subscription required) and here we found a lot of Poco phones.

Starting with the Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro – here’s the vs article – you can get flagship performance from this year (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5) or last year (Snapdragon 8 Elite). The Ultra is a larger phone with a 6.9” display and a 6,500mAh battery, while the Pro is mid-sized with a 6.59” display and a 6,210mAh battery. Both phones have 100W wired charging, but only the Ultra does wireless (50W).

Another place where the Poco F8 Ultra stands out is the camera – the 50MP main has a larger sensor (1/1.31″ vs 1/1.55″), a 50MP telephoto with a longer lens (5x/115mm vs 2.5x/60mm) and a higher resolution ultra-wide (50MP vs 8MP).

Instead of the F8 Pro, consider the Poco F7 Ultra – it has the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip but with more RAM (16GB vs 12GB). It has a brighter 6.67″ display (1440p+) but a smaller 5,300mAh battery (with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging). However, given the similar price, we’d go with the newer model.

The Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max are similar to the F8 duo. The first is a smaller phone (6.59” vs 6.83” display) and has a smaller battery (6,500mAh vs 8,500mAh). However charging is the same (100W wired only).

However, this time, the cameras are identical – so apart from the size, these two are differentiated by their chipsets. The Pro uses the Dimension 8500 Ultra, while the Pro Max is closer to flagship territory with the Dimension 9500s (a variant of the Dimension 9400+).
