Deals: OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite, Galaxy Unpacked pre-reservations, Redmi 13 5G coming soon

Last week, we saw several Nord models, including the Nord 3, getting a price drop of up to ₹20,000. However, Amazon is now out of stock. Instead, take a look at the new OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite at the same price. Well, it’s a little less if you have Amazon Prime – subscribers get an additional ₹1,000 off. Keep in mind that 12 months of Prime costs ₹1,500, so it’ll almost pay for itself.

Samsung has officially set the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event as July 10. You can already pre-reserve a unit with a refundable ₹2,000 deposit. If you do this, you will get up to ₹7,000 worth of rewards. This offer is for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, but the new Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch will also be part of this offer.

In fact, there is a separate pre-reservation page for the new Galaxy Buds, which promises benefits of up to Rs 2,300. The phone, buds and watches are shown only as sketches right now.

The Z Flip6 will be replaced by the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. It will launch on July 4. Not much can be said about it right now, but you can check out the landing page to see the key features of the phone.

Xiaomi has been teasing the Redmi 13 5G for quite some time now and it will be working with Amazon to release it on July 9. Check out the landing page below. The phone will have Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It will have glass on both the front and back and on the back, the phone will have a 108MP camera.

You can also take a look at last year’s Redmi 12 5G. It uses the same SD 4 Gen 2 chip and has a 5,000mAh battery that comes with slower 18W charging. Also, the main camera only has a resolution of 50MP. The 2023 model also has glass on the front and back.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is another 2023 device, but Xiaomi has just released a bold, new scarlet red colourway, which looks pretty nice.

Coming to this year, the Poco X6 is a 5G phone with a more powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and a premium 6.67” display with 12-bit colours (1220p+ resolution, 120Hz). The 64+8+2MP camera is certainly less premium, but the 5,100mAh battery supports 67W charging.

The Oppo F27 Pro+ launched last week. It uses the Dimensity 7050 for 5G connectivity and has an even more basic 64+2MP camera. The 6.7” 10-bit display is just as big, but it’s not as sharp with its 1080p+ resolution (the refresh rate is the same at 120Hz). The battery is comparable – 5,000mAh capacity and 67W charging. If you’re wondering why it’s so expensive, the F27 Pro+ has a stylish design. It’s also quite rugged with a rare IP69 rating and has been dropped and tested from 1.8 meters onto concrete.

If you’re looking to buy a 5G phone on the cheap, a ₹500 voucher will get you the Poco M6 Pro 5G for under ₹10,000. It has a 6.79-inch IPS LCD (1080p+, 90Hz) and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, which is proving to be quite popular. At this price, the 50+2MP camera setup is no surprise, nor is the 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. At least you get reasonably fast UFS 2.2 storage and a microSD slot, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack and even an IP53 rating. It’s not much, but this phone is as cheap as 5G phones get.
