Deal: iPhone Air is €200 off, Xiaomi, Poco and Google phones also have price cuts

Analysts believe the iPhone Air isn’t performing as well as Apple hoped — which is probably why we see discounts on it so often. And here it is again.

Apple is trying to start a new trend with the iPhone Air – its thickness is only 5.6 mm and its weight is only 165 grams and it feels special when you hold it in your hand. It’s a shame that apart from being thin and light, the phone isn’t that good at anything. It features a 6.5″ LTPO OLED display, a 48MP camera, and a small 3,149mAh battery with wired and wireless charging. Right now, it’s €200 off its regular price.

The Apple iPhone 16 is from last year and is currently discounted to a modest €80. It’s neither as thin nor as light as the Air, at 7.8 mm and 170 grams – this despite the iPhone 16 having a much smaller 6.1″ display. However, it has a larger 3,561mAh battery, which gives it greater endurance (15:42 hours vs. 12:44 hours in our tests).

The iPhone 16e was already the cheapest new iPhone, now it gets even cheaper with a €120 discount. It also has a 6.1″ display but has a larger notch on it. Ahead, we’ll revisit some of last week’s deals as prices drop even lower.

There’s a €140 discount on the Xiaomi 15T Pro, so the 12/512GB model now costs €760 – it was €800 a week ago. It features a large 6.83″ 12-bit 144Hz OLED display. It is powered by a Dimensity 9400+ chipset and a 5,500mAh battery (90W wired, 50W wireless charging). The 15T Pro is equipped with a 50MP main camera (1/1.31″) and a 50MP 5x periscope (115mm), as well as a 12MP depth sensor. Ultra-wide camera (120°) and 32MP selfie camera.

The price of Xiaomi 15T is the same as last week. That still makes it €310 cheaper than its Pro sibling – that’s a lot of cash. You lose performance (the Dimensity 8400 Ultra is no slouch, but it can’t match the 9400+) and charging options – the 5,500mAh battery only supports 67W wired charging. The cameras are also less capable, with a 50MP 1/1.55″ main, 50MP 2x/46mm tele, and 12MP ultra-wide. Here’s a more detailed look at how the Xiaomi 15T compares to the 15T Pro.

The Poco F7 Pro was at €460 a week ago and now it has dropped to €400. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which slots between the Dimensity 8400 and 9400+. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired-only charging. The 6.67″ 1440p+ 12-bit OLED display is smaller but sharper than the 15T display. The Poco has a fairly basic camera – a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.55″ sensor is the same as the 15T main camera, but it only has an 8MP ultra-wide to keep it company. There is no tele lens on board.

The price of Google Pixel 10 was €800, now it has dropped to €730. This is for the 128GB model, the price of the 256GB variant has also dropped but not that much. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with 8GB of RAM. Yes, the Redmi 15 has a camera, why do you ask? However, that’s all that can be said about it.

The design of the Poco M7 4G is attractive, but the 4G modem may be a deal-breaker for some people. Still, it’s an even cheaper phone with a 6.9″ 144Hz IPS LCD with 1080p+ resolution. And it has the same 7,000mAh battery that’s rated at 33W in and 18W out. Yes, it has a camera. Jokes aside, both phones have microSD slots but not a 3.5mm headphone jack.
