The Day of Lives episodes of the June 12 had emotional moments as the characters recalled John Black and bowed to each other during grief. While Marlena, Steve, Roman and others gathered in Brady Pub for John’s Wake, Jennifer and Julie expressed condolences to Abigail and Doug. At the same time, Bo and Hope reflected on their past because they used to walk together through Salem.
Jack honored Abigail as Jennifer Shok Daug and John
Jack visited Abigail’s grave and kept flowers, asked him to welcome John to heaven. Meanwhile, Julie found Julie struggling with emotions on the anniversary of Abigail’s death. Jennifer left John’s Wake to live with the family and talked about losing Doug and John. Julie gave him rest and reminded him that he still appreciates blessings.
Hope to join him soon, and the three women embraced him. Jennifer left to take ice cream, while Julie and Hope discussed Jennifer’s strength. Hope admitted that he felt guilty by celebrating Bow’s return, hurting John, but Julie assured him that nothing is wrong with being grateful.
As he was sitting for ice cream, Julie recalled the journey to Paris years ago, so that Bo could not be hoped. The conversation went into the old memories of the cruise of deception and Jennifer realized that he found his soul’s partner in Jack. A flashback showed Jack and Jennifer on the island. Jennifer asked Jack to get some sleep while he stayed with Asha.
Later, Hope and Jennifer discussed that the mysterious necklace was taken by Daug. Jennifer was already watching it, and Hope offered to help. Julie interrupted, and Jennifer went to bed. Hope and Julie then talked about starting a new chapter with Bo and coming with other occasions.
John wakes up in Brady Pub
In the pub, Steve served a drink as Bo Marlena, Steve, Kayla, Roman and Shane. Steve gave John Black a toast, called him the best man whom he ever knew. Marlena recalled her adventures, and Flashback showed significant moments from John’s life, including her time as Pon, Marlena was helping her, and her West Virginia trip.
The group recalled previous enemies such as Stephano and Orfius, and recalled how John and Marlena fell in love. Shane mentioned John’s son, Paul, his son Andrew’s upcoming marriage. Roman stepped into calling Kate, and Marlena chased him to relax. He spoke honestly about the pain caused by stem and shared a hearty throat.
Steve talked about his tradition with John, which lists enemies once a year. The group also did the same and avenged the orfius. He supported each other with merciful words, flashbacks and memories, including Marlena’s possession.
Marlena says goodbye
As soon as the night ended, Bo talked to Steve about a possible new team: Him, Hope, and Steve. Shane said that his goodbye, and Bo thanked Roman for running the pub. Marlena, now alone with Roman, apologized again for the past. Roman told him that he had moved forward and appreciated the friendship made with John.
This episode stepped out of the pub alone with Marlena. She looked at the sky and tore and remembered that she had returned from the dead. His last moment was full of calm spirit because he said goodbye in his own way.
