Dave Portnoy reacts to co-host Briana Chickenfry’s split from Zach Bryan with this Taylor Swift song

Businessman and podcaster, Dave Portnoy is definitely by his BFF co-host, Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia’s side, as she and country singer Zach Bryan make headlines due to their separation. The entrepreneur dedicated Taylor Swift’s The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived to his co-host.

He reached out to his ex and wrote, “Dedicating this to @BChickenfry,” without writing about or naming anyone other than tagging Brianna. He shared the post on Tuesday, October 22.

He attached an audio file of the song featured on Swift’s latest album, Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April.

According to People magazine, many think the global pop sensation’s song was about his 1975 relationship with singer Matty Healy. In the song, the singer refers to her short-lived relationship and calls out her boyfriend for spoiling her summer.

This post by the BFF host came after Zach announced his breakup with Brianna on his Instagram Stories. The singer addressed the separation and said he would “respect and love” her with every drop of his heart. He shared this story on Tuesday.

The singer mentioned that he was going through a very difficult year and had to struggle while dealing with very serious things.

LaPaglia responded by sharing a note on his Instagram Stories. She claimed that she was “blindsided” by the split announcement. The podcaster revealed that she will be taking a break from social media for a while to try to heal privately and will speak again when she is ready.

According to the publication, she later posted a three-minute video of herself sitting on the bathroom floor on another Instagram account, Plan Brie Uncut, and said she woke up to her ex posting that they had broken up online and that she had no idea why. Wasn’t. The post was going up because he didn’t text or call her. Briana shared that she woke up to a ton of messages asking her if she was okay.

He further said, “This is very shameful. I don’t have regrets,” he added, “How can you give every bit of yourself to someone and then have it thrown away within days? “It’s really, really heartbreaking.”

According to the outlet, Brianna and Zach got closer to each other during the ACM Awards in May last year and started dating in July 2023.
