Darshan Thoogudeepa’s son took to Instagram to speak out against trolls who said his family was being unfairly targeted after his father’s arrest. Darshan and his alleged accomplice Pavithra Gowda were taken into custody on June 11 in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case.
Darshan’s son Vinish condemns trolls who spread hate and negativity
In a recent update, Kannada actor Darshan’s son Vinish slammed trolls in an Instagram post after his father’s arrest on June 11. The 15-year-old slammed trolls for all the hateful comments against Darshan.
He wrote, “Thank you all for all the bad comments and offensive language towards my father and not considering that I am a 15 year old kid and I have feelings too, and even during this difficult time when my parents needed support, cursing me will not change you all.”
Furthermore, Vinish also stressed that the trolls did not consider his young age. Meanwhile, according to a TOI report, Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi unfollowed him on social media before deactivating his Instagram account.
What is the controversy of Darshan Thoogudeepa?
Recently, Darshan Thoogudeepa and his alleged girlfriend Pavithra Gowda were arrested by the Bengaluru police on murder charges. Reportedly, Renuka Swamy, a 33-year-old pharmacist from Chitradurga, had made derogatory comments against Gowda, which he did not like.
Motivated by this, he tried to take revenge on Kannada star Darshan Thoogudeepa, who had allegedly instigated the murder. Later, with the help of his henchmen, he caught the victim and killed him inside his garage with multiple weapons.
After this, the victim’s body was dumped in a storm drainage. The alleged murder is being investigated, with both actors in police custody. A report by India Today suggests that 3 people have already confessed to the crime and said that they killed Renuka on the instructions of Darshan.
