Jan Nayakan’s overseas distributor has announced that the film will release in United Kingdom theaters later this month, with bookings now live. The uncut, 15-rated release is billed as a farewell concert for Vijay.

Actor turned Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s film Jan Naygan Set to be released at the end of this July, its distributor in the United Kingdom has revealed its release date in theaters there. The update was shared by Ahimsa Entertainment through a social media post.
It has been mentioned in the post Jan Naygan Will be released in UK cinemas on July 24, with tickets already on sale. Ahimsa Entertainment, the distributor, also described the film as an uncut, 15-rated release and presented it as a farewell to Vijay.

Earlier Vijay had confirmed Jan Nayganhas received censor certification and is headed towards a theatrical release. The announcement comes after a long-running dispute with the censor board, which has been resolved following 12 suggested amendments. These included scenes showing the national flag falling, a reference to Vijay’s party TVK and some abusive and religious words.
Vijay shared a new poster for the film directed by H Vinoth, which read, “See you soon in theaters Nanbaa and Nanabis (friends). Jana Nayagan has censored A (sic).” The caption also referred to Vijay as the Honorable Chief Minister for the first time in the banner’s promotional material. It reads, “Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu…C Joseph Vijay (sic).”
Although the makers have not yet announced the official worldwide release date, reports say that the film is expected to hit the theaters later this July.

The film is a remake of the National Award winning Telugu film Bhagwant Kesari (2023), starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Sreeleela.
