Citadel Honey Bunny Receives Critics’ Choice Nod, Russo Brothers Congratulate Team
Raj & DK’s Citadel Honey Bunny has been nominated for the Critics’ Choice Awards, a significant achievement for the show. Russo Brothers have also congratulated the team.
The Citadel Honey Bunny team has reason to celebrate as the series has garnered a nomination for the prestigious Critics’ Choice Awards in the Best Foreign Language category.
The nomination marks a significant milestone for the show, competing with acclaimed series such as Pachinko, Acapulco, La Maquina, The Law According to Lydia Poet, My Brilliant Friend, Senna and Squid Game.
The Russo Brothers, who served as executive producers on the project, offered their congratulations to the team.
Expressing his excitement, Varun Dhawan, who plays Rahi Gambhir aka Bunny, shared the news of the nomination on his Instagram account along with a message from the Russo Brothers.
Co-star Samantha, who played Honey, also accepted the nomination with an Instagram story, writing, “How cool is this? (sic)” along with a thank you note.
Citadel: Honey Bunny starred Varun and Samantha in the lead roles. Directed by Raj and DK, the series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher and many others.
The six-episode show released on Prime Video on 6 November.
