Chidiya Ud is a crime drama series inspired by true events starring Jackie Shroff, Bhumika Meena, Sikander Kher and Madhur Mittal. The series is now available to stream on Amazon MX Player.
Released on January 15, 2025, the show highlights themes of survival, the complexity of human nature, and defiance. Tiger Shroff took to Instagram Stories to share his thoughts on his father Jackie Shroff’s new web series and called him a “killer daddy”.

The story of Chidiya Ud revolves around a young woman named Seher, who finds herself embroiled in a conflict with criminals. Hailing from Rajasthan, Sahar is forced to face the harsh realities of life in Mumbai. The series depicts her struggle to break free from the limitations imposed on her while exposing the brutal truths of life.
Jackie Shroff, who plays Kadir Khan, said that the world of Chidiya Ud was full of unexpected twists, where survival was the ultimate goal and each character was involved in their own personal battle.
He mentioned that playing Qadir was a challenging and rewarding experience, and believed that the audience would enjoy his performance.
Bhumika Meena, who plays Sahar, talked about her experience of bringing the character to life. He described Sehar as a resilient fighter who refused to succumb to the harshness of his environment. Despite the enormous obstacles Sahar faced in such a difficult world, her strength and determination came through.
Based on Abid Surti’s novel Cage, the series starred Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Bhumika Meena, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More and Mita Vashishtha, among others. It was produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri and directed by Ravi Jadhav.
Talking about the work front, Tiger will next be seen in Baaghi 4 with Sanjay Dutt.
