Actress Nushrat Bharucha has addressed the controversy surrounding a viral video that has sparked online speculation over an allegedly inappropriate audio clip. Responding to the rumours, the actor issued a clarification on his Instagram Stories, stating that the sound heard in the background was that of a puppy and criticized those spreading misinformation.

Highlighting the assumptions being made online, Nusrat wrote, “Some people have crossed the limits. The sound of a puppy crying has caused so much chaos And someone has also issued a fake explanation on my behalf. (Some people have really crossed the line. The sound of a puppy crying has created such a huge controversy).”

Explaining the circumstances behind the video, she further said, “So here’s the truth… I was watching the match at my friend’s house and his little puppy was making ‘crying sounds’. This is the video made by my friend at the same time with the same sound from another angle. (Continued..)”

The actor also shared additional visuals to support his claim and revealed why he ultimately removed the original video.

She wrote, “This is the house where I was watching the match. This is the puppy. This is the video from the same night, sometime later. Scared of what really happened, I was advised to delete the video and I did.”
