Big Overseas Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s film earns US$ 6.40 million in first week and Rs 284 crore worldwide

Dhurandhar closed its first week at the overseas box office with around US$6.40 million (₹57.50 crore). Combined with Rs. 226 crores from India, worldwide first week amount is Rs. Approximately 284 crores.

Dhurandhar saw an extraordinary trend, with weekdays earning more than its opening day. The film faced capacity constraints in all major markets, leading to massive underperformance. The spillover is so prominent that the film has spectacular second-weekday pre-sales, whereas normally, even for the biggest blockbusters, they are next to nothing.

The second weekend will certainly be bigger than the first weekend, with a potential expected to exceed US$4 million. If there were no capacity issues, it could have been more than USD 5 million, maybe even USD 6 million. The total gross will cross US$10 million by Sunday; From there, it will cross the US$15 million mark and potentially target the high teens, possibly even US$20 million. Christmas-New Year holidays at the end of the month are going to prove very helpful.

The daily overseas box office collections of Dhurandhar are as follows:

Day Total
Friday 750,000 US dollars
Saturday 1,200,000 US dollars
sunday 1,250,000 US dollars
monday USD 725,000
Tuesday USD 850,000
Wednesday USD 825,000
Thursday USD 800,000

Total 6,400,000 US dollars

The film performed well in all other major markets, although Australia and Canada performed best. The film will chase the all-time records in these two fields, which are currently held by Animal. The United States is the largest in terms of collections and there has been a significant improvement compared to Friday. The United Kingdom had a relatively slow start, but is now collecting very well. This is a market that has a large number of Pakistani expatriates in its audience, which may have limited it initially, but is now growing well.
