The film opened to a crowded box office on Friday, with nine films releasing on the same day. In that line-up, Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata was one of the titles competing for screen and audience attention, with the weekend expected to rely heavily on word of mouth.

The Hindi 2D version recorded 3.77 percent occupancy in the morning show, 12.00 percent in the afternoon show and 10.54 percent in the evening show. This took the total occupancy for that day to 9.63 percent.

The National Capital Region (NCR) had the highest number of 281 shows for the film. There were 167 shows in Mumbai, while there were 143 shows in Ahmedabad. In terms of occupancy, 7 percent was recorded in NCR, 11.3 percent in Mumbai and 4.7 percent in Ahmedabad.
