Avatar: Fire and Ash final advance booking: James Cameron’s film sells 1,65,000 tickets across top national chains on first day in India

James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash is set to release in theaters in just a few hours. The much-awaited Hollywood film sold over 1,65,000 tickets across the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, on the first day. The first sold around 1,28,000 tickets while the second recorded 37,000 admissions. Ticket sales are good on weekends. The film has sold around 4,35,000 tickets in the national chains over the weekend.

The previous Avatar film had sold 3,30,000 tickets on its opening day. Compared to the progress of other Hollywood films released in the post-pandemic era, Avatar: Fire and Ash managed to overtake Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and run shoulder to shoulder with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
