A few days ago, Asus unveiled the ROG phone 9 Fe, but today, it is time to focus on its other product line. Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra, like its predecessor, comes slightly before normal with an early launch of February instead of July.
The major change of this generation is Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, up to 16GB with LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The new chip promises to promote 40% in 45% more CPU performance, 40% faster GPU and NPU performance.

This is the last one important because ad-on features from Asus add too much AI. It comes in two forms: on-device and cloud AI. A Lama from the Zenfone 12 Ultra Meta comes with a 38B model, which runs on the device and is used for high quality text summings.
AI Call Translator 2.0 also runs on-device and does that he says on tin-Real-Time Voice Translation for Default Phone App, but also third-party messaging apps that support VOIP calls. The recorder app has AI Transcript 2.0 feature with multi-spicker identity, summary and translation. You can also summarize articles and documents. Well, this is enough about AI.
The new main camera uses a Sony Litia -700 sensor instead of IMX890. Important upgradation is 6-Axis Hybrid Gimble Stabilizer, which is now in version 4. It can correct ± 5 ° movement, 66% improvement on Zenfone 11 Ultra Gimble Stabilizer (which was version 3).
The 32MP telephoto camera also has optical stabilization (no word on its performance) and provides 3x optical and 10–30x hyper circle zoom. Above it is 120 ° Ultra-Wide camera. On the front, the selfie camera is based on 32MP RGBW sensor and 90 ° lens.
