Legendary singer Asha Bhosle expressed her last wish during a podcast appearance in 2025, saying that she wanted to die singing, as it was all she knew her entire life. Bhosale died at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. on Sunday due to multi-organ failure.

The 92-year-old singer revealed that she started learning music at the age of three and music was her whole life.
he adds, “My own wish is to go away as soon as I sing. This is my wish. I have nothing to learn right now. The song is my life. Been gone since childhood. Taught classical from Baba since 3 years. The whole life has gone into it. (My only wish is to die singing. This is my last wish. I have nothing left to learn. Singing is my life. I have been doing it since the age of 3 with my father. I spent my whole life doing it).”
