Aryan Khan’s alleged Brazilian partner Larissa Bonesi is trending amid Haryana vote controversy
Brazilian model Larissa Bonesi has been wrongly identified as the woman Rahul Gandhi showed off at his Haryana ‘vote theft’ press conference. It is rumored that she is close to Shahrukh Khan’s son and debutant director Aryan Khan.
Brazilian model Larissa Bonesi has been mistakenly identified as the woman whose photo was displayed at a press conference regarding alleged electoral malpractices in Haryana. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi addressed the press on Wednesday and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of ‘vote theft’.
During the press conference, Gandhi claimed that the Brazilian model’s image was used several times in polling booths in Haryana under different names. As the allegations spread, confusion arose on social media. The woman was reportedly identified as a Brazilian named Larissa. This led many users to wrongly link Aryan Khan’s alleged partner Bonesi to the controversy.
Addressing the media, Rahul Gandhi had commented, “Who is this woman? What is her name? Where does she come from? But she votes 22 times at 10 different booths in Haryana, and she has many names: Seema, Sweety, Saraswati, Rashmi, Wilma… but it turns out she is actually a Brazilian model.”
Following the allegation, many Indian social media users flooded his posts with congratulatory messages and references to the political episode. Comments like “You are famous in India” and “Congratulations on Indian citizenship” received a lot of attention.
Larissa Bonesi has not publicly responded to the comments or addressed the ongoing confusion. Some of his supporters tried to clarify that he was not the person who was mentioned in Gandhi’s press conference.
The confusion appears to have arisen due to the similarity in names between Larissa Bonesi and another Brazilian model, Larissa Neri. Neri has reportedly said that he is the same person whose photograph was shown by Rahul Gandhi and has shared the related screenshots and videos on his social media account. Despite this, most of the online attention is focused on Bonsai.
Larissa Bonesi, 31, has established her career in India over the past decade. He has done small roles in films like ‘Go, Goa, Gone’ (2013), ‘Thikka’ (2016), ‘Rocket Raja’ (2017) and ‘Ghaati’ (2025).
The rumor of her engagement with Aryan Khan came under public scrutiny after she was seen with Aryan and the Khan family at the launch of his first web series earlier this year. Neither Larissa Bonesi nor Aryan Khan have commented on their alleged relationship.
