Analysts are keeping a close watch on pre-order for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in South Korea and they are predicting record-breaking numbers. Given the last couple of generations, Z fold5 and Z Flip5 set recorded with more than 1 million pre-ordereds (1.02 million, especially) in 2023. From last year, Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 failed to reach that benchmark.
Pre-order reservation on Samsung.com reached 160,000 in 14 days since the reservation was opened on 24 June. It was before the official disclosure on 9 July, but is used by analysts as an early point for new foldables to calculate record-breaking domestic demand. There is no mention of the Galaxy Z Flip7 Fe, but perhaps its number is being rolled into Z Flip7 data.

It should be noted that this prediction is for the South Korean market, which is affected by factors not related to the quality and upgradation of the new Z foldables.
For example, SK Telecom was recently killed by a hacking incident, which is removing customers. Katie and LG U+ are happy to snatch those customers. SK Telecom is offering attractive deals on Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 to return and return some market share.
Relative to this, Korea canceled the device distribution improvement Act, stating that the details of carrier subsidy deals should be made public. Earlier, carriers were offering KRWs up to 500,000 in subsidy – with the most recent changes, subsidies could increase because carriers try to attract new customers. Samsung is happy for additional business, of course.
