Amran earns Rs 13 crore on second Sunday; The second weekend’s finale was phenomenal
The Tamil film directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy is going very strong in its performance. The film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on its 10th day (second Saturday) by earning around Rs 11 crore. Furthermore, its collections witnessed another surge and grossed over Rs 13 crore today, taking it towards the Rs 125 crore mark at the Kollywood box office. Amaran’s total earnings currently stand at Rs 118 crore in Tamil Nadu.
With such a strong trend, it has already become the second highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024 on its home turf, surpassing Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyaan. If the film manages to hold its own against new release Kanguva, it could earn Rs 150 crore in Tamil Nadu throughout its run.
Amran’s global violence continues; Eye on earnings of Rs 225 crore to Rs 250 crore
The Sivakarthikeyan starrer received extremely positive reviews, and the same is reflected in its everyday catch. The highly acclaimed film is performing very well outside Tamil Nadu. While it is still one of the top choices in the Telugu and Malayalam states, the film is performing well in overseas locations as well.
For the record, Amaran has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the worldwide box office in 10 days of its release. It is on track to reach around Rs 225 crore to Rs 250 crore globally. However, Amaran’s lifetime collections largely depend on how it performs against the upcoming Tamil biggie- Kanguva, which is scheduled to hit the screens on November 14.
