Famous filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Alia Kashyap is all set to marry her long-time boyfriend Shane Gregoire. The pre-wedding rituals have started with the Haldi ceremony on Sunday, which was attended by BFF Khushi Kapoor and others. The excited father shared a glimpse of the same.
On December 8, Anurag Kashyap posted the first picture from his daughter Alia Kashyap’s Haldi ceremony with Shane Gregoire on his Instagram handle. In the picture, the adorable couple, drenched in celebration, were wearing turmeric paste and flower petals. Meanwhile, Alia sat close to Shane, who was seen wrapping her in his arms.
Alia, on the other hand, placed her hand on his cheek and the couple looked adorable as they posed for this lovely picture. He was surrounded by his close friends Khushi Kapoor, Ida Ali (daughter of filmmaker Imtiaz Ali) and others. The filmmaker posted the picture with a red heart emoji in the caption.

Adding to the excitement, not only the couple, but their friends were also seen in yellow themed attire. Khushi was looking beautiful in a floral printed lehenga with her hair tied in a bun. She was wearing matching bangles on her arms.
Other Bollywood celebrities including Sonam Kapoor and Bobby Deol reacted to the post by pressing the like button. Meanwhile, many well-wishers extended their warm wishes in the comments section of the post shared by Kashyap.
On Saturday, Khushi Kapoor also took to her Instagram to give a glimpse of her friend’s perfect bridal shower. For the special ceremony, bride-to-be Alia wore a long white dress with a necklace and Khushi chose an off-shoulder pink number that showed off the tattoos on her arms.
The ideal bride team included influential personalities like Sakshi Shivdasani and Karima Barry. Except Alia, all the girls chose pink for the occasion. The post was titled, “Wedding festivities begin.”
