Actress Alia Bhatt recently attended the pre-wedding festivities of her close friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma in Mumbai on Thursday. The actor not only impressed with his stunning looks but also stole the show with his energetic performance at the pre-wedding party.
Videos from the celebration, which are now circulating on social media, show Alia dancing to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic track Oh, my lover From tomorrow may or may not happen. Akansha’s sister Anushka Ranjan and brother-in-law Aditya Seal also joined her on the dance floor, all three danced to many popular Bollywood songs amidst the enthusiasm of the guests.

For the occasion, Alia chose a striking purple saree that was a mix of contemporary wear with traditional attire. She kept her look elegant yet restrained and once again displayed her fondness for a modern take on classic Indian attire.
The intimate celebration was attended by close friends and family including Janhvi Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and many other members of the film fraternity.
Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma’s marriage
Akansha and Sharan are going to get married on July 11, followed by a wedding reception at JW Marriott on July 12. The couple has reportedly opted for a private celebration in the presence of only close family members and friends.
Reportedly, Akansha and Sharan have given up on social marriage and have chosen to keep things simple by opting for a registered marriage. The legal formalities will take place at Ranjan’s residence in Mumbai.
According to the report, Akansha and Sharan have been dating for about four years. Earlier reports had him added in 2022. It was also reported at the time that they had kept their relationship a secret for about six months before the news became public.
