Actor Akshay Kumar launched the Hindi trailer of actor Mohanlal’s upcoming fantasy drama Barrows: Guardian of Treasure. At the trailer launch event held on Wednesday, Akshay shared that he has watched most of Mohanlal’s films, while Mohanlal thanked Akshay for taking out time to attend the event.

At the event, Akshay shared his admiration for the Malayalam superstar. He said, “Like everyone else, I am also a fan of Mohan sir and have watched most of his films. I also watched the film which was directed by my dearest friend Priyadarshan.”

Starring Mohanlal in the role of a friendly ghost, the film also marks his directorial debut. The trailer focuses on his journey as the protective ghost of a palace. Legend says that the castle has many interesting stories, and that there is a treasure hidden in it that only a special girl can extract. It turns out that only this girl can see and talk to the ghost.
